The Scale Auto Design Gallery of Pictures

The engineering drawings and custom scale model armature are exactly like the ones we use in production car design studios. The car body templates are used as part of the blocking in stages. They are explained in the close to 3 hours long DVD.

Developing the model center line is one of the early steps in the car modeling process. Cars are designed around the wheels, so we take a very detailed approach when developing the models wheel openings. In this rear ¾ image we are starting to develop the scale model three dimensional line positions as we go through the roughing in steps.

Once you learn the clay modeling techniques in the DesignStudiPro DVD, it will be easy to change this car design into your personal favorite super car (visit: the-blueprints.com) or follow the instructions in creating your own engineering drawings.

The DesignStudioPro scale auto modeling course has been used by car design students both here in the USA and Internationally. Open your mind to the possibilities. These professional techniques well strengthen your modeling skills as well as transform the way view the cars. You will never look at a car the same way again.

In the automotive design modeling process we use tools called slicks. These tools are made of materials ranging from carbon fiber and spring steel to plastics. Modelers use these in the clean up process of making the roughly raked surfaces smooth. This is one of the last modeling steps to complete before you paint the scale car model.

Then ballence, refine front and finishing the model and painting
